Moving in Mandalas: Marrakech Yoga Retreat

YOGA

Follow the cycle of the rising African sun and setting desert moon with daily solar & lunar yoga practices to deepen your connection to body, mind, and spirit. We will use the mandala, a sacred geometric shape symbolizing balance, harmony, and cosmic wholeness to synthesize each day's discoveries.  Practices will include vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, and meditation. All levels are welcome. We'll also offer additional workshops off the mat to explore mandalas and chakras in daily living and how to create your own watercolor chakra oracle deck.

EXPLORE

Adventures will include a guided tour of the medina (the old city), a visit to a nearby organic farm for a cooking class led by a local chef, and a day trip to hike and picnic in the Atlas Mountains. There will be shopping in the markets for textiles, spices, baskets, and more, visits to hidden gardens, as well as indulging in a hammam, a traditional and unforgettable Moroccan spa experience.  Other optional adventures are available as add-ons. Desert camel ride? Local wine tasting? We've taken care of every detail so that you can truly relax and enjoy it!

GIVE

Peacock Pavilions supports Project Soar, a non-profit organization established by the hotel owners, to empower local Moroccan girls through art, sports, health, and English language education. We are joining with Peacock Pavilion to donate a portion of this retreat's proceeds to Project Soar, to help teenage Moroccan girls understand their value and their rights, and find their voice as young female leaders.
